Is it boring where you work?

Well, Dan and I attended the 2012 Google Agency Summit in New York yesterday and I must say the thing that struck me most is the employee atmosphere, perks and great food. (Besides the great things that can help our clients of course!) I’ve read about the employee perks but seeing a few first hand was quite an experience. Nothing boring or hum-drum about working at Google.
How would you like your company cafeteria to be staffed by gourmet chefs? No bag lunches or microwave meals here! (My cooked to order burger on wheat was scrumptious by the way – and Dan and I enjoyed it by sitting back and watching one of many big screens in the cafeteria.) Or how about traveling around on scooters with special parking slots outside each office? The building is huge… 2.9-million-square-feet of unusual sites at a very unusual place to work.

The Agency Summit was informative and jam packed with tidbits that can help us help clients better market their businesses. Every Googler I talked to was brimming over with information and extremely enthusiastic to tell us about how ways to improve our clients marketing and how Google can help. Thanks for inviting us Google and we love our Lava Lamps!
