Anita Schott
CEO, Graphics III Advertising, Inc. T/A G3 Group
With a passion for both design and technology, Anita founded Graphics III Advertising, Inc. in 1984 to help businesses advertise in print. From the first time she connected her Apple Mac to the Internet (in 1989); Anita was fascinated by the future commercial possibilities of this media and prepared for a transition that formed the foundation of the company today.
After college Anita planned on a career in Veterinary medicine but that all changed when she took a job at a graphic design and typography firm. She was facinated by the blend of creativity and technology. She later purchased the initial company she worked for (ABC Typography, Inc.) and that acquisition doubled the size of Graphics III.
The name "Graphics III" referred to the initial three partners in the firm (although it ended up being only two). Over the years, clients fondly referred to Graphics III as "G3". In 1996 Anita adopted that nickname as the company moved from offering traditional to interactive services.
Anita's spare time is devoted to family, friends and her dogs. A passionate animal lover - spending time with her Doberman, Min Pin and Golden Retriever is only matched by her love of computer technology. Charity is also important - recently she provided pro bono services to rebuild the Children's Cancer Foundation and EWBC (Eastern Women's Baseball League) websites.
Anita is proficient in the field of search engine optimization; teaching techniques to individuals that have gone on to become national speakers and leaders in the industry. Today Anita works with a wide range of client projects - from consulting, to Internet marketing and conversion optimization - translating business goals into successful, solid marketing strategies.
