Email Support
You will need to specify the type of email account you wish to utilize - either POP or Forwarding . POP Accounts enable you to logon to "pick-up" your email by making a direct connection to the mail server. Forwarding is when we automatically forward email for your domain to an outside existing email address that belongs to you.
Establishing Your POP email Accounts:
POP Email Accounts are enabled when you wish to query the server for your email directly from your computer. G3 will establish your accounts that are requested. You need to establish settings and create a new account in your email software to make the connection to your server. Instructions are provided below.
POP Email Accounts - Receiving Your Email:
Instructions for setting up your client email software for your POP Email Accounts. Select the software you want to use:
Email Forwarding:
You can optionally have the email for any user forwarded to an outside email account. Supply your G3 Account Representative with a valid email address that you are using and all email that is received by your domain can be routed to that address automatically. You do not need to change any settings for Email Forwarding; it is performed automatically.
Email Aliases:
You can optionally have email aliases for a user (either POP or forwarding). For example: username@yourdomain.com is the POP email. But this user could also answer email for webmaster, info and sales@yourdomain.com. You can add an unlimited number of email aliases. NOTE: POP Email accounts must be unique. The username cannot be in use by another user within your domain.
